This spring, Rod will be painted approximately 48 belt buckles that served as the awards at the 2008 CMT Music Awards.  The awards show aired April 14th on CMT and was hosted by Billy Ray Cyrus and his daughter Miley Cyrus, also known as Hannah Montana.  CMT off-air art director, Jason Skinner, contacted Rod this past December about painting the awards.  One of the awards is currently on display at the Nashville International Airport.  Since then Rod has also received commission to paint a guitar for a new country themed bar and grill inside Harrah's Casino in Shreveport, LA.  You can find out more about the music awards by visiting http://www.cmt.com/cmt-music-awards/.
